Pool Pipe Relining in Perth
Pool pipe relining in Perth repairs a cracked or leaking pool line from the inside, so the paving, coping and garden around the pool stay where they are. We find the fault on camera first, then cure a new liner inside the old pipe.
- Suction, return, skimmer and backwash lines
Camera first
We look inside the pool line and show you the crack or open joint before quoting.
Paving stays down
The liner goes in from one end of the line, not through a trench beside the pool.
Recording handed over
You keep the inspection footage, whichever way you decide to fix it.
Why pool lines are hard to reach
Pool plumbing runs from the pool shell to the equipment, usually straight under the things you least want disturbed: the coping, the paving around the pool and the garden beside it.
- Suction lines draw water from the pool to the pump.
- Return lines carry filtered water back in.
- Skimmer lines run from the skimmer box at the edge.
- Backwash and waste lines take water away to the drain.
When one of these cracks or a joint lets go, the usual fix is to lift the pavers, dig beside the shell and replace the pipe. Relining is the other option.
Where pool pipework runs
Finding the fault on camera
Leaking pool pipe repair starts with knowing exactly where the pipe has failed. A CCTV inspection goes into the line and records cracks, open joints, roots and breaks along it. You see the same footage we do, and you keep the recording. It tells us where the damage is, how long the damaged length is, and whether the line can take a liner.
How a pool line is relined
The line is cleaned, then a resin-saturated liner goes in from one end, is pressed against the old pipe and cures hard in place. The old pipe stays in the ground as the outer shell, so the paving and coping above it are not lifted. Each step is set out in how pipe relining works, and what moves the price is on our pipe relining cost page.
When a direct repair makes more sense
Not every pool fault suits a liner. A very short section right at a fitting, or a pipe that has broken apart, can be better dug out and replaced. We can do that too, but where relining will do the job, we prefer it. The footage decides, and we will tell you which you have.
